Registration: You do not have to register to visit and browse certain features of the Website, such as to access the resource centre or to read other content portions of the Website. However, to access certain features on the Website, you are required to create an account and provide your first and last name, email address, and a password that you select. If you sign-up for a paid account, we also collect your payment-card details (including payment card number, security code, expiration date, cardholder name and billing address). Your registration information is used to create your account, and otherwise provide and administer the service you requested.
Profile Information: If you chose to create a profile on the Website, we collect additional personal information in order to assist us in matching you with companies that fit your preferences, experience and style. This information includes job-related information (such as area of expertise, years of experience, seniority, industries, and former employers), skills that you select, and your responses to questions which we use to assist us in determining your professional attributes and cultural fit. We also collect your job preferences, such as type of role you are seeking, availability, size of company, location, travel preferences, compensation expectations, etc. for matching purposes. If you choose to provide a photo, it will be included in your profile and available to companies registered on the Website. We also collect and use your profile information and other information about your use of the Website (such as search queries and jobs or other links you click on) to provide you with tailored job recommendations through the Website.
Referrals: The referral, “refer a friend” and other similar features on the Website permit you to send email to others individuals that might be interested in Kahuso. This feature requires you to submit your name and email address, as well as the name and email address of the recipient. We do not use the names or email addresses submitted in these circumstances for any other purpose without the consent of you or the email recipient to do so. Please ensure that you only submit email addresses of individuals with whom you have a personal or family relationship and who would want to receive the message.
Email, SMS Text Messaging, and other Communications: We may offer you the ability to sign-up to receive Kahuso marketing and promotional communications through our website or on third party websites (including through social media sites). If you sign-up, we collect certain personal information (such as first and last name, email address or mobile phone number) which we use to send you email, SMS text messages and other communications containing Kahuso updates, tips, and other content that may be of interest to you. Companies on Kahuso: When you create a profile, certain of the personal information you provide to Kahuso will be made available to all companies who are registered on the Website so that they can determine your suitability for employment. This information includes your name, location, photo (if provided) and short profile summary.
Service Providers: We may transfer (or otherwise make available) your personal information to third parties who provide services on our behalf. For example, we may use service providers to send our emails, host our website and operate certain of its features. Your personal information may be maintained and processed by third party service providers in the US or other jurisdictions. Our service providers are given the information they need to perform their designated functions, and we do not authorize them to use or disclose personal information for their own marketing or other purposes.
Partners: From time to time, we may partner with third parties to provide benefits to registered members of the Website.
